Congregational Care

The key to our care and support is the way church members care for each other. We believe that congregational care is a shared responsibility for all of us. Caring relationships develop naturally within small groups, classes, choirs, and other connections. Northminster also works to promote this atmosphere through the Congregational Care, involving many groups in various roles. Of course, the Deacons are the officers who spearhead our care for one another. They initiate regular contacts, maintain an emergency prayer chain, coordinate crisis response teams, assist with funeral receptions, deliver flowers, and provide help in many forms. But they cannot do it alone, and they always welcome involvement of all our members.
