PRESBYTERIAN DISASTER ASSISTANCE (PDA) Presbyterian Disaster Assistance enables congregations and mission partners of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crisis and catastrophic events. The purpose of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is to provide a ministry of "relief and response to national and international disasters, aid to refugees and displaced persons, refugee resettlement, and efforts toward development."

June 9-14, 2008 Northminster will complete a three year commitment through another work trip to Bayou LaBatre, Alabama. There is still much work to be completed! We plan to travel by carpool to the area and will stay at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mobile, AL. More information will be available in the Commons beginning April 1. Contact Alice Lee at 874-8114.
