Short Term Mission Trips
Mission Work Trip to Joplin, Missouri
The Missions Relationships Team has scheduled our spring work trip for June 3rd thru June 9th. We will travel to Joplin, Missouri where a tornado devastated one third of the city on May 22, 2011. In Joplin we will be staying and working with New Creation Church, located near some of the worst hit areas. 30 churches, countless homes, businesses, hospitals and schools were damaged. New Creation Church, working with Home Sweet Homes in the area, anticipates building 12 new homes this year and doing rehab work also. It has been our experience that all levels of skills are welcomed, needed and put to good use in these areas. Previous work has included roofing, siding, dry wall work, insulation, painting and more.
