How to Serve: Join the leadership team for this ministry or participate in their events which include writing Christmas cards to deployed troops and veterans, donating items as requested for the troops, and helping to serve at the Veterans’ Day luncheon.

Contact: Bob Brockfield (Chairman) at . Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month at 12:00 in the Lounge. Guests and new members are always welcome.

Prayer Request: Pray that God will protect our troops as they go forth with courage and determination to face the forces of violence and weapons of destruction. Thank God for their service and love of our country. Also, please pray for healing of hearts and minds of those veterans who are facing the challenges of transitioning to work, life, and home after the military. According to new data from the Department of Veterans Affairs, 20 veterans a day commit suicide nationwide, indicating a significant mental health risk for individuals who served in the military.
